About New Reflections.
Sue Cassidy
Hello! I’m Sue Cassidy, a qualified Humanistic Existential Counsellor.
Although originally from England, I spent 29 years in Wales where I studied for my level 4 diploma in therapeutic counselling at Cardiff & Vale college (CAVC), before returning to live in my hometown of Bournemouth.
I’ve always been interested in learning about people’s behaviours, emotions and relationships, plus the links between mind and body, and that led me to my first degree in Psychology.
My journey to the field of counselling came relatively late in life, after developing a passion for the importance of mental health provision. I truly believe that counselling can be an instrument for change and growth, ultimately helping people to lead a more fulfilled life.
